First year at GenCon Indy!! I was so stoked to be here and more awesomely, working the Cryptozoic WoW TCG booth. There’s nothing like an awesome convention to get you thinking about World of Warcraft cosplay! I really didn’t cosplay (obviously, I was working), but I did pay homage to my patron leader Sylvanas by wearing her hood and wig part of the time.
Wicked Cosplay will be at Gen Con Indy this year! YAY! But I’m actually working as a product demonstrator for the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game, licensed by Cryptozoic, rather than cosplay and press. There will be cosplay though! I plan on making a Sylvanas hoodie to go with our staff uniform. It’s Apotheosis Agency‘s first big event and we want to stand out! All of the ladies are super excited for it. But on to what everyone really wants.
I’ve recovered! Halfway.
Sorry about the delay in the final post kids, I’ve been under the weather and spending most of my time asleep. But now I’m awake and here to fill you in.
With 8 more days to Anime Expo, we’re all becoming anxious and excited for the plans we have. We’re adding final details and touches to our planned costumes, and trying to figure out whats left to pack. It makes focusing on work at my actual paid job just a little difficult!
But that’s all fine and well. Today more stuff arrived for my cosplays, so I’m that much closer to being done with everything.
Good news everyone! I’m back in the States and I’m back for good! After 3 years of being overseas we are planting ourselves firmly here in good ol’ Southern California. Obviously I’m planning on going to AX this year. Initially I was very put off that its been held at the Los Angeles Convention Center… for the fourth year now… but I guess unless I plan to boycott it forever I’ll just have to suck it up and go.
