Well, I was not expecting to be taken away so dramatically from this site or from cosplay, but life takes over sometimes. Let’s see what has happened so far:
I have a major research project I am working on, hopefully to have it published in the near future and I got a part time job. I have recently (if any frequent visitors have noticed) updated this site’s gallery to be (less annoying?) more user friendly. Also been working on a lot of technical stuff for the site (which no one will care about :p) which I am very pleased with myself for. I’m slowly working on trying to find our missing Anime Expo years as well as scaling the internet for my lost personal photos. Been an adventure!
And most importantly it looks like we are moving again! This time it is not overseas so I will not be disappearing from the face of the earth for years on end. We are moving to the east coast! So naturally it has been hectic preparing for this move in a couple of months.
Anime Expo plans have changed, unfortunately. I will be attending, but depending on the move I may not be attending the whole 4 days. If out move is postpones as I think it will be for late summer then there’s no need to worry. So, FOR Anime Expo I will not be making any new costumes (due to said move) except for one which will be….
Dun-dun-du-duuuun. Humanized Twilight Sparkle! I was recruited for a very large gathering and am looking forward to the designs the organizers have thought up.
It can otherwise be expected for me to return Madam Boss, Nepherenia, Lust, and possibly Wicked Lady if I cannot fill all 4 days with other interests. I hate HAVING to repeat costumes beyond my own accord, but I would much rather create quality costumes I can return to than pump them out on the cheap to throw them away when I’m done.
As far as GenCon this year? We’ll have to see I suppose. If I am moving in August and do not have a solid address by the time tickets need to be purchased then I may be SOL. I dearly hope I’ll be able to return. I’ll make it work if I’m given the chance!
Until I have further updates, ladies and gentlemen, keep it Wicked!
